Toba Inlet Camp Management

From 2008 until 2015 PRESS managed the kitchen and housekeeping services for a 300 person remote camp at Toba Inlet.

Mountain Ash Preserves

PRESS bought the good will and recipes of an existing company to support the operation of Mountain Ash Preserves as a student run business from 2008 to 2017.

Hɛhɛwšɩn Canoe

In 2017, PRESS received an Aboriginal Arts Development Award from the First Peoples’ Cultural Council, in order to provide organizational support to the Chinook Collective’s vision of building a Cedar Dugout Canoe as a means of embodying the spirit and intent of Reconciliation.

Farm Economy Initiative

In 2018, PRESS completed a comprehensive study of the local farm economy. This research was sponsored by the City of Powell River and funded by BC’s Rural Dividend Fund.

Powell Lake Outdoor Learning Centre
